Personal Snippet//Day 18πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

Hey y'all! It's time for another personal snippet! This week has begun to feel much more like Christmas to me. We decorated for Christmas this week (yes, we did decorate 10 days for Christmas, don't judge usπŸ˜‚), and I went out and bought Christmas presents. Wednesday we got freezing rain, which was really pretty to see from inside, but slightly dangerous from the outside (I stepped outside on our porch and came quite close to falling, lol. What can I say, I am quite accident prone). Last night, I started wrapping presents. Funny story: I am not a natural wrapper. Seriously, I stink at it. However, last night I was doing a great job! I didn't cut the wrapping paper too short for once in my life, and the folding was going quite smoothly. As I taped the last piece and sat back to look at my nicely wrapped gift, I realized with horror that I had wrapped it upside down! Oops. Oh well. On Sunday, my church is having their annual Christmas candlelight service with communion. This will be the first year that I will have done it as a member of the church, as we joined this church this past January. I am very excited :). I am also taking school off all next week, so that will be nice. That's about all the news I have for now. Here are just a couple pictures for your enjoyment :)

This is our "candy cane" Christmas tree, with red and white lights. Normally we don't put it in this spot, but I think it looks so pretty here!

These are two of the presents I wrapped. The one on the bottom is the unfortunately-wrapped-upside-down-one :(

My current wallpaper on my phone, lol

    1. Oh my! Yes, we were a little late this year in getting it up, but it's so pretty now :). Ah yes, I'm a natural clutz, lol.
Hahaha thank you! I agree, a present is a present, upside down or not ;). Fortunately nothing was fragile, so it's okay, lol. I agree, Pinterest is great :).
Ooh! I will be sure to check it out! Sometimes our schedules get crazy and we can't post as much as we'd like to :( but that's okay!
