Behind the Blogger Tag

Two tags in a row! That's crazy! I wasn't sure if I should post two tags in a row, but I have very little patience and so I decided to go ahead and do it. I love these things! Thanks,  Ellie  for nominating me for this tag! Here we go! Behind the Blogger Tag The Rules: 1. Thank the person who nominated you 2. Answer the Questions 3. Pingback to the creator:  Ellyn 4. Nominate 5+ bloggers to do the tag The Questions: Why did you start blogging, and why have you kept blogging? I started blogging because I wanted to connect with people and be able to share my passions with others. I've kept blogging because I really enjoy it and I seem to have made an influence on some of my viewers, which is what this blog is all about! What is your type of blog post to write? Probably tags, lol. I also love sharing about my life. I'm Back! My Favorite Things Tag

Image
Hey y'all! I can't believe it's been almost 2 weeks since I last posted! That's crazy! The past week was a very busy one, as my youth group was having camp from Monday-Thursday from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM and I had volleyball camp from Wednesday-Friday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. It was extremely busy, and kept me moving, but this is just my cup of tea. My Mama always says she has to have white space on her calendar, but the busier my calendar is, the happier I am. However, everyone has a breaking point, and, well, let's just say that I'm glad this week is over, lol! What have y'all been doing this summer? Lots of people are saying it's the worst summer ever, but this has been one of the best for me! I've really enjoyed driving around and hanging out with my best friend at the park. My, it's good to be back on the blog! It's such an energy reliever for me. If you're thinking of starting one but aren't sure, I would definitely recommend! Aaaaann...

Hey, y'all! In the last post, I mentioned I was going on a four day trip with my grandma, sister, and two cousins, Jonah and Sam. I had so much fun!! There are tons of pictures to share, and normally I post them all at the end of a post, but each picture has a story, so I'll just post a picture as the story comes up. Grandma rented a cabin, and it was the same cabin we had rented 7 years ago for Jonah's 1st birthday. Cydney and I slept up in a loft, the boys slept on a pull out couch, and Grandma slept on the queen sized bed in the room. The best thing about traveling was the country roads. There was one road we drove on that had no lines, was very thin, and was pretty much traveling straight up a mountain. Do y'all like car rides? I do, but I'm not a huge fan of long ones. There wasn't as much to do as normal, because of the virus. The waterslides and kiddy pool were closed, as well as the big float that was normally in the middle of the lake. Howe...

4th of July Weekend!

Image
Hello friends! I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th! This year was a busy one, for sure! On Thursday, my cousins from South Carolina (shout out to Kaitlin and Tara, the same cousins from  this post  ;)) came in town, and we spent pretty much the entire weekend with them. On Friday, they came over to my grandparents, and we spent *a lot* of time on the golfcarts, plus we fulfilled the new tradition of the trailer ride to the Farmer's Market, this time with my uncle driving the tractor, and my cousins' dad driving behind us for safety. Friday night, we had a bonfire in my grandparents' field, and Tara and I went to pick up pizzas from Pizza Hut (where is your favorite place to get pizza? My entire family agrees Pizza Hut is the best), and then we made s'mores. We also had sparklers, which we were able to get some cool pictures with! My uncle, who had also came in town from SC, had to leave Saturday morning, so we drove over to my grandparents to see him one more time b...
